However, these classes are not available inside the Rails::Initializer.run block (at least, when run in development). If you reference ActiveRecord::Base in there then that'll raise an exception. So one must reference "config.active_record.logger" instead. - It's not clear how the 'config' variable relates to the actual class settings. For example the guide doesn't describe that ActiveRecord::Base.session_store is related to config.active_record.session_store.
