Not able to use block-setting of attributes via association

Perhaps this could be viewed as a feature request, but it seemed like a bug to me. On Rails Edge, you can't set attributes with a blog if you do so through an association. Please refer to the attached patch with a failing test case. My apologies, but I'm just not familiar enough with the Rails internals to create a proper patch that would add the functionality.
