[Patch] Correct index column order for PostgreSQL

Reported by Michael Schuerig | April 2nd, 2009 @ 02:08 PM | in 2.x

The query used to determine indexes from the database in the ActiveRecord PostgreSQL adapter returns columns in arbitrary order. As a result, in schema.rb multi-column indexes are likely to be created with columns in the wrong order.

The attached patch apparently fixes this problem. However, I don't understand the PostgreSQL-specifics, but rather got the code by asking on comp.databases.postgresql.
