Rails 3.0 beta Streaming of file:- pdf ,word not working

When i am sending pdf file to client file is not an pdf.and it
contains following
Proc:0xb6f5e8b0@/var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/actionpack-3.0.0.beta/lib/action_controller/metal/streaming.rb:95
