[PATCH] shortcut to unscoped named_scope
Reported by Jan Xie | November 22nd, 2010 @ 11:05 AM
Sometimes people write code like this:
Post.unscoped.on_apple.first
Post.unscoped.on_google.first
So you may be interested in shortcuts to default_scope ignored version of the named_scope you defined?
Post.on_apple!.first
Post.on_google!.first

I think this patch is unintiutive and goes against the clarity usually found in rails (well, every version >= 3). I would rather be reading the
unscoped
version than this. Thanks for trying though!

It's not worth killing readability just to avoid typing 8 extra characters.
