Localized page caching
Reported by akia | February 15th, 2009 @ 07:37 PM | in 3.x
Besides the recent added feature: localized templates, it would be great if rails supports localized page caching too, something like this: http://szeryf.wordpress.com/2008...
How do you think?

This is interesting. But unless i'm mistaken this requires a special frontend server setup (Apache in your article). So the user would need to explicitely opt into this cause otherwise page caching would break if the frontend server hasn't been set up accordingly?
In this case why not wrap this up as a tiny plugin and publish it on rails-i18n.org?

Closing out, looks like it'll make a fine plugin.
