ActiveRecord::Associations::ClassMethods tables_in_string does not recognize digits in table name

The regexp (/([.a-zA-Z_]+).?./) in tables_in_string does not recognize table names that contain digits.
This seems to be fixed in the master branch but not in 2-3-stable.
