Order of command line options
Reported by Daniel Schierbeck | May 23rd, 2010 @ 01:07 PM
When creating a new Rails 3 app using rails -J
<appname>
, or any other option for that matter, the
following error is returned: No value provided for required
arguments 'app_path'
.
It seems that the options need to come after the app
name, which does not match normal UNIX conventions, e.g. rm
-fr <dir>
.
Is this intentional, a limitation of the argument parsing, or something I should look into fixing?
