Irregular inflection of singular form ending with an s is not fool proof

For example the irregular inflection:
inflect.irregular 'mus', 'mussen' has a singular form ending with
an s, and a plural form without. Testing with this:
"mus".pluralize # => "mussen" "mus".pluralize.pluralize # => "mussen" "mus".singularize # => "mu"
