Low performance in production environmant
Reported by Andrew | August 16th, 2010 @ 09:25 AM
I was using rails3 RC and wanted to see how well does it perform in production environment. But I failed to test this through ApacheBenchmark. I just got following error:
apr_socket_recv: Connection reset by peer (104)
I tried ruby 1.9.2-head and 1.8.7. Same thing. When I was using 1.8.7 and reloaded page in browser - I got
ActiveRecord::ConnectionTimeoutError
could not obtain a database connection within 5 seconds. The max
pool size is currently 5; consider increasing it.
in production mode. (Was using default mysql gem). In development mode I have about 13 rps, but everything is stable.
