Typo in documentation for ActiveSupport::Cache::MemCacheStore

Reported by Steven Jenkins | August 19th, 2010 @ 07:27 PM

The source says:

51 # Instead of addresses one can pass in a MemCache-like object. For example: 52 # 53 # require 'memcached' # gem install memcached; uses C bindings to libmemcached 54 # ActiveSupport::Cache::MemCacheStore.new(Memcached::Rails.new("localhost:11211"))

which should instead be:

54 # ActiveSupport::Cache::MemCacheStore.new(MemCache.new("localhost:11211"))

    • Tag changed from patch documentation to patch documentation, rails 3.0.rc, patch

    Two clarifications:

    1- The version for this is v3.0.0_RC
    2- patch commit message has been revised to include the necessary string for Lighthouse.
