[PATCH] ActionController::MimeResponds depends on ActionController::Rendering

Reported by Simone Carletti | September 21st, 2010 @ 04:11 PM

In retrieve_response_from_mimes (line 262), ActionController::MimeResponds uses lookup_context which is defined in AbstractController::ViewPaths, which is made available by ActionController::Rendering.

According to the online documentation, each metal module should automatically include its own dependencies.
That said, the following class doesn't work as expected.

class MyController < ActionController::Metal
  abstract!

  include ActionController::MimeResponds
end
