[PATCH] script/rails plugin install fails silently
Reported by Paul Hieromnimon | November 10th, 2010 @ 11:45 PM
Trying to install a plugin from a Git URL will fail silently on systems where Git is not installed. I added a method to determine whether Git is installed on the system and exit with a warning if it is not.
I want to write a test for this, what's the best place to put it?

Still a problem in master, please commit this patch or otherwise fix this problem as this was a major cause of frustration to developers in our organization. Thanks in advance. [state:open]
