#6149 ✓stale
Raphael Randschau

render :content_type does not work

Reported by Raphael Randschau | December 11th, 2010 @ 02:00 PM

According to the documentation,

render :content_type => 'some/mime', :partial => 'something'

should set the Content-Type in the response header to 'some/mime'.
This does not work.

I have to use

response.headers["Content-Type"] = "some/mime"

render :partial => 'something'

instead for a work around.

  • Tested in Rails 3.0.3.
