New record on with accepts_nested_attributes_for cannot accept an existing object

Reported by Alex McHale | December 19th, 2010 @ 10:00 AM

When creating a new record on a model that accepts_nested_attributes_for - if you pass an object that already exists (has an id field) as attributes, it raises an exception. I suggest that it should find the existing record, update it, and assign it to the new record.
