#6261 ✓stale
Jo Liss

Why does ActionController::MimeResponds have :nodoc:?

Reported by Jo Liss | January 7th, 2011 @ 05:04 PM

action_controller/metal/mime_responds.rb has

module ActionController #:nodoc:
  module MimeResponds #:nodoc:

I'm guessing :nodoc: is used for methods that tend to only be used internally, but MimeResponds has user-facing instance methods like respond_to or respond_with, which are now missing from api.rubyonrails.org.

Should the :nodoc: be removed? (I'm not sure enough to just submit a patch...)
