options[:src] in image_tag
Reported by skeller1 | February 2nd, 2011 @ 11:27 AM
I want create an embedded image_tag helper to embedd images in html view. (http://www.greywyvern.com/code/php/binary2base64).
There's already an options[:src] in the image_tag method.
Change this line in image_tag
src = options[:src] = path_to_image(source)
to
src = options[:src] ||= path_to_image(source)
would give developers full control about the src attribute in an own view_helper.
def my_helper_tag(bla, options={})
set src
options[:src] = "do my work here"
call image_tag
image_tag "", options
end
So the developer is able to use the other options like :width, :heihgt ...
An other possibility would be an embedded_image_tag with base64
