    I can confirm that I get this problem all the time as well in 1.8.7-p249 and 248. I use the same setups as you guys as well.

    I can't reproduce either, just tried with a fresh app. Perhaps you have some different routes setup that are triggering this?

    Error happens when <%= csrf_meta_tag %> is not included into your application layout. See #4084 ticket for more info as its a duplicate issue.

    I think this is invalid. As long as you use javascript_include_tag this works. Make sure you spell 'onclick' correctly.
