nested :joins scope can't be merged correctly

For example, while Blog has_many :posts and Post has_many :comments, both of the following two Arelish query fails:
Blog.joins(:posts) & Post.joins(:comments)
Comment.joins(:post) & Post.joins(:blog)
I really hope this nested :joins to work as expected, since it might be almost equivalent to:
Comment.first :joins => {:post => :blog}
which has been working since Rails 1.1 or so.

Comment.joins(:post => :blog)If not, could you please add a test case to Rails suite showing what do you want to achieve? Thanks a lot!
