as_json does not get called when using the include param in the to_json method from a related model
Reported by Stewart Matheson | October 29th, 2010 @ 01:25 PM
Consider two models that have a relation. Say one model has an "as_json" method defined. Say the other model is having its "to_json" method called. The model that has the "as_json" method defined is included in the first models json render call:
model_with.to_json(:include => [:second_model])
The problem seems to be the include call. The as_json method does not seem to be getting called on the second model. Instead all of the models data is rendered to json.
