Improvements to simplified_type for Oracle adapter
This patch refines the types returned by simplified_type for the Oracle AR adapter. This is especially useful when coupled with plugins that do DB reflection, such as auto_migrations. This patch correctly forward/reverse maps between AR migration column types and the actual Oracle column type.
I think it's important to get these fixes into the Oracle adapter for 2.1, since rsim has recently forked the Oracle adapter due to some of these enhancements.

Oracle adapter is no longer in rails core. You should submit the patch to Oracle Adapter maintainers.

Are there any oracle adapter maintainers? Is the oracle adapter even hosted anywhere? The gem itself seems to be missing from both rubyforge and github. Makes you wonder how many other things that were removed from core, are now completely gone.

It provides all functionality what Oracle adapter provided plus I am constantly adding new features that I extract from my projects.
So please use it and submit patches or feature requests that you would like to get in it.
