rails/lib/fcgi_handler.rb calls Dispatcher.reset_application!

Reported by The Doctor What | November 6th, 2009 @ 03:53 PM

In rails 2.3.4, the fcgi_handler calls Dispatcher.reset_application!

However, Dispatcher doesn't have a reset_application! method -- it went away in rails 2.0 according to posts like:

This means that ror stops responding at times with an error 500.

    • Assigned user set to “Ryan Bigg”

As far as I can tell, the FastCGI handler has been removed from Rails, also doing a grep for reset_application! shows that the method isn't being called anywhere within Rails.

I think this ticket can safely be closed.
