destroy method does not work correctly with fixtures
Reported by q | January 4th, 2010 @ 02:05 PM
My unit test
test "destroy should destroy tournaments" do
assert_equal 2, @player.players_in_games.size
assert @player.destroy
assert_equal 0, @player.players_in_games.size
end
fails. Whereas the following alternative works like as champ:
test "destroy should destroy tournaments" do
assert_equal 2, @player.players_in_games.size
assert Player.destroy(@player.id)
assert_equal 0, @player.players_in_games.size
end
I expect both forms to work the same way.
My Rails version: 2.3.3
