What happened to safe_helper?

I can't find any mention of Module.safe_helper in Rails 3. I upgraded my 2.3.8 app to use rails_xss and used safe_helper all over my helper modules. However, on upgrading to Rails 3.0 I'm getting NoMethodError's for that. Acking the source code turns up no instances of safe_helper.

Was it intentionally removed from Rails 3? Or forgotten?
