ActiveSupport::Inflector#ordinalize not I18n-enabled
Reported by tiennou | September 10th, 2010 @ 10:41 AM
I've made ordinalize I18n-ready by monkey-patching it. I'm willing to turn it into a patch against ActiveSupport, but I'm not sure my approach is the right one, so I'm willing to discuss it ;-).
activesupport_ordinalize.rb is the monkey-patch.
fr_ordinalize.yml contains the rules for French.
For reference (I've found those just now, so my current
implementation doesn't handle those cases) :

Right now this approach works in languages where the ordinals don't depend on gender.
