I define a method in ApplicationHelper module

module ApplicationHelper

def mymethod

end

end

class MyController < ApplicationController

   mymethod

I found a solution already by specifying the :controller param

resources :users do

resource :wall, :controller => "wall" do

post :add_comment

end end

all above the ruby version is ruby 1.8.7, use gem updating everything to the lasted version

I have tested this issue under several environments
1. Windows7 rails3 IE8, cookies can be saved: No
2. Windows7 rails 2.3.9, cookies can be saved: Yes

cookies[:name] = {
    :value   => "test" ,
     :expires => 2.hours.from_now
    }

and i found out that the cookies...

Thanks for the reply, but in my situation, a user just has one wall.I mean the url is like http://xxx/user/:user_id/wall, and will never be http://xxx/user/:use...
