    One possible solution looks like:

        # `AND schemaname = ANY (current_schemas(false))` added so only tables in the current search path are included

    in #table_exists? the SQL to determine if the table exists is:

        query(<<-SQL).first[0].to_i > 0
        SELECT COUNT(*)
        FROM pg_tables

    I'm not exactly sure what the cause of the problem is, so this may require some more clarification, but here's what seems to be most relevant:

    I have a has_many...
