Another workaround. Instead of:
```
s = 'Address'
s.singularize # 'Addres'
```
Do:
```
s = 'Address'
s.pluralize.singularize # 'Address'
```

6057 'Address' does not singularize properly was created in Ruby on Rails

Using Rails 2.3.5 or Rails 3.0.3, testing in irb:
```
'Address'.singularize
=> "Addres"
```
However, the following works:
```
'Address'.pluralize.singularize
=> "Address...
```
