    It looks like a different patch was applied to fix a similar problem that also fixed this problem - see ticket 6103.

    Verified on Ubuntu + sqlite3
    ruby-1.9.2-p0 > c = Person.count(:salary)
    => #<BigDecimal:1a30a38,'0.1E1',9(18)>
