    At the moment you can do:

    named_scope :last_week, lambda { ({:conditions => ['assignments.created_at > ?', 7.days.ago.to_s(:db)]}) }

    Hmm, working fine for me with 2.1.0 with all gems you mentioned. Not sure what the problem is.

    I think you'll find it's gchartrb's silly gem naming.

    Try:

    config.gem "gchartrb", :lib => "google_chart"
