    fyi, just checked, the bug still exists in 2.3.2, and it only appears if you use the after_create callback, (using the after_save callback works as expected).

    are there no rails team members interested in looking at this? i think this issue is due to a bug in the callback routines somewhere (at least in 2.2.2)..
