    I just tried this in Rails 2.3.10 using the exact model in the report and it worked for me..

    c = Company.create => # c.addresses.build.addressable => #

    Here's an updated patch that fixes the underlying problem rather than just covering it up.

    AssociationProxy does this:
    instance_methods.each { |m| undef_method ...

    The problem is that in association_collection, method missing is getting called with respond_to somewhere is calling respond...

    The problem appears to be when on line 146 in association proxy send gets called with "current_scoped_methods". This causes proxy_respond_to to call respond_to?...

    Same Problem here.. It also works fine under 1.9.1p243 but not 1.9.2...
