Use :key instead of old :session_key in session_store.rb generator and docs
The template for
config/initializers/session_store.rb is still using
the old CGI :session_key key in the hash of options
for the session store. This patch updates the template to use the
new :key key and updates all documentation and
messages referring to the old usage throughout Rails.

Cody Fauser:session_key still works, but it would make sense to throw in a deprecation warning.
