[PATCH] Removing RAILS_CACHE and replacing it with Rails.cache

Reported by Hubert Łępicki | June 4th, 2010 @ 11:06 AM

I have sent pull requests but not sure, maybe ticket is better place to request merging that into master branch.

http://github.com/hubertlepicki/rails/commit/98990c3045df5b4e8b2175...

Basically it removes RAILS_CACHE constant and is using Rails.cache everywhere instead. It's also possible now to use Rails.cache = new_store to set cache store dynamically without re-defining RAILS_CACHE.

I have found a bug and now the proper patch is uploaded, the link in ticket text no longer valid -- anyone knows how to remove it?
