nested partials causing problem looking for correct file format
Reported by Ashly | August 10th, 2010 @ 06:46 PM
I have a .html.erb partial being rendered inside another
.html.erb partial. This results in an error stating the partial is
missing. It seems to be looking for the name of the partial
(comment_reply), but in .json format. Other .html.erb partials are
rendering fine in the same directory, and this one instance does as
well if I spell out the extension like this:
<%= render :partial => 'comment_reply.html.erb' %>
instead of what I typically do like this:
<%= render :partial => 'comment_reply' %>
