"Ignoring unsupported signals" error messages from fascgi-handler running with IIS
Reported by klaus | August 17th, 2010 @ 09:39 AM
I have installed Rails with IIS 7.x using fastcgi. All works
fine and fast. The only thing is, that I get a lot of messages
"Ignoring unsupported signal USR1" in the fastcgi-log. Therefor I
replaced the SIGNALS-Array in fcgi_handler.rb with an empty
array.
The system is stable in spite of that replacement; so it seems ok
to me.
Maybe you would like to know that for an update.
best regards
klaus

Sorry - no test. I have made these changes:
1. def install_signal_handler(signal, handler = nil)if SIGNALS.include?(signal) && self.class.method_defined?(name = … #{ SIGNALS[signal]}_handler") handler ||= method(name).to_proc begin # trap(signal, handler) rescue ArgumentError # dispatcher_log :warn, "Ignoring unsupported signal X #{signal}." end else # dispatcher_log :warn, "Ignoring unsupported signal Y #{signal}." end end
