ActiveRecord does not save serializable aggregation to the DB
Reported by Josep M. Bach | November 15th, 2010 @ 11:01 AM
Given a model composed_of a serializable value object, ActiveRecord apparently never saves the serialized VO to the database.
I am using Rails 3.0.1 and ActiveRecord with mysql2 adapter.
The problem might be better understood in the following example:
https://gist.github.com/700258
I've made sure that the model recognizes the value object, can assign and get values from it, but it still doesn't persist it.
