Let you control body and headers when test a controller

Reported by blacktear23 | January 13th, 2011 @ 04:48 AM

When you write a controller which just receive a XML format data(or other format). In controller test, you cannot just write the test code like:

xml_data = "Some XML data here..." post '/controller/action', xml_data #assertions...

Because post method cannot receive a string parameters. So make that test work, I think we can do some work in TestRequest class, and make the test code looks like:

xml_data = "Some XML data here..." request.body = xml_data post '/controller/action' #assertions...

And I found we cannot set HTTP header easily in test code, so I also add a method add_header to TestRequest class:

request.add_header('MY_HEADER', 'HEADER CONTENT')
