Litespeed compatibility

I'm getting RC2 to work with Litespeed and I ran into a couple of small issues. It really seems like the LSAPI doesn't act like it's supposed to but with these two small changes, it looks like everything plays nicely.

    I can apply the first part of the patch, but not the patch to rack. Can you please submit that as a bug upstream?
