[PATCH] custom form class in button_to
Reported by Dennis Krupenik | April 13th, 2009 @ 12:00 AM | in 3.x
it's sometimes necessary to specify form's class in UrlHelper#button_to. This patch allows you to do that.
button_to("Hello", "http://www.example.com", :form_class => "custom")

I would appreciate the ability to do this!
Especially when you want inline forms without a line break, you need to tweak the CSS somehow to make the form and the inside div inline. You could attach this CSS styling to the generated "button-to" class, but you normally don't want it for all button_to links, just some.

Just added a patch that solves this with tests and documentation.
Use the :form_html key in the html_attributes parameter to specify html attributes for the form tag. -
