#5024 ✓invalid
Frank J. Mattia

is the new rails.js intentionally breaking ujs or is there a new way of doing it?

Reported by Frank J. Mattia | July 1st, 2010 @ 04:52 AM

Created a new rails app, bundled edge and did rake rails:update. Scaffolded a new model and the delete links being submitted as GETs and the :confirm attribute is never being utilized (i.e., no confirmation popup).

I updated an existing project (that was tracking edge but behind a few days) and now that one behaves the same way.

RVM on OS X with 1.8.7-p299, 1.9.2-preview3 and ruby-head.
Safari 5 & whatever the latest Firefox is.

Just figured it out. Rails doesn't update prototype.js to the prerequisite version (1.7-rc2) when running rake rails:update.

Please close and mark as invalid.
Will open a more appropriate ticket (I'll submit a patch if anyone is willing to point me in the right direction, I've never done it before).
