Looks like all you can do for now is downgrade to ruby-1.8.7-p174

I just ran into this. I have the same version of Ruby (installed via rvm) on a Mac OS X Leopard machine.

FWIW this is still a problem in Rails 2.3.4. I've created a sample app, with tests, that illustrates this problem.

For the record, we ran into this bug as well.

+1 for addressing this issue. or being much more explicit in the docs. I would want multiple group by support, achieved via an array as the original post sugges...

This is minor, but inflections.rb probably should have a case for strings that look like /^(.)class$/ and perhaps even more generic as /^(.)ss$/
