headers["Status"] in xml view no longer available
Reported by Jeroen Houben | November 19th, 2008 @ 10:33 AM | in 2.x
Not sure if this is a bug but on 2.1.1 I could access response.headers["Status"] but on 2.2.1 it does not seem to get set.

looked at the source and it seems the reponse header is set only after the template was rendered, which actually makes sense because the header["Status"] could change to say a 500 when the teplate rendering failed.
