rails plugin new ../blog --edge --mountable doesn't work

I was following the mountable apps manual:
http://piotrsarnacki.com/2010/12/21/mountable-apps-tutorial/
and executed:
bundle exec ./bin/rails plugin new ../blog --edge --mountable
and it failed saying:
Could not find
"../../app/templates/public/javascripts/jquery.js" in any of your
source paths. Your current source paths are:
/Users/rafamvc/workspace2/bgjobs/rails/railties/lib/rails/generators/rails/plugin_new/templates
but the command without --mountable works.
